Drs. Sehy & Jones Optometrists and Tri-Power Towing picked up victories in the Junior Babe Ruth League Baseball Tournament Monday at Paul Smith Field.

Tri-Power edged Washington Savings 7-6 in the opening contest. Washington Savings led 1-0 after the first and 4-3 after the third. Washington held a 6-5 lead in the fifth but Tri-Power tied in the sixth and scored the winning run in the seventh.

Both teams had 11 hits in the contest. Tri-Power was led by Cole Marxman with a single, double and an RBI while Bryson Wall, Keifer Bathe and Zack Keitel had two singles each.

Issac Kramer led Washington Savings with two doubles and three RBI while Hunter Stephens added three singles.

In the second game, Sehy & Jones downed Midland States Bank 5-2. Sehy & Jones took a 4-0 lead in the fourth and tallied a final run in the fifth.

Sehy & Jones had eight hits led by Gavin Braunecker and Joseph Kabbes with two singles each.

Dawson Smith had three singles while Aaron Webb had two singles for Midland States Bank.

Sehy & Jones advances to face Tri-Power Towing at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday for the championship.
