11-12 Year-Old League Results -- June 20

Whitetails Unlimited came back to beat Beck's Hybrids 10-7 in the opening game of the 11-12 Year-Old League Monday at Community Park.

Whitetails edged ahead 2-1 in the first but Beck's tied in the second. Whitetails held a 5-2 lead in the third. Again Beck's came back to push ahead 7-5 in the top of the fourth. Whitetails then rallied with five in the bottom of the fourth to pull out the victory.

Joe Matteson had a single, double and drove in three runs for the winners. Jonathan Zerrusen added two singles and three RBI.

Samuel Vonderheide led Beck's with a double and two RBI and Jonathan Willenborg had two singles.

In the second contest, Schumacher Orthodontics took off in the final three innings and tallied a 14-1 win over Northside Ford.

Schumacher led 1-0 until the third then tallied two runs, scored six in the fourth and five in the fifth.

Josh McDevitt pitched a one-hitter. McDevitt had two doubles while Owen McCoy had a single, double and an RBI.

Colin Marschewski had the only hit for Northside with a single.
