Northside Ford edged Kingery Printing 9-8 in 11-12 Year-Old League competition Monday at Community Park.

Kingery Printing took a 2-1 lead in the first and led 5-1 after three innings and 8-3 after four. But Northside came back with a five-run fifth and won the game with a run in the sixth.

Drew Splechter picked up the pitching win and also aided the cause offensively with a double. George Schiedmantel had a double and two RBI while Cameron Chasteen had a double. Brady Beals had a single, double and an RBI. Carson Chasteen had a single and drove in three runs.

Jon Perry led Kingery with a double, triple and solo home run. Will Flach added a single, double and an RBI.

In the second game, Kemper CPA took a quick 5-1 first inning lead then had to hold off Whitetails Unlimited for an 8-6 victory.

Kendall Schmidt led Kemper offensively with two singles, a double and two RBI while Zander Koester added an RBI.

Cohen Woods had a single, double and an RBI for Whitetails Unlimited while Collin Kinkelaar and Joe Matteson had a double each.
