11-12 Year-Old League -- June 1

Kemper CPA didn't score until the fourth and fifth innings in downing Schumacher Orthodontics 8-3 in 11-12 Year-Old League action at Community Park Wednesday.

Schumacher edged ahead 1-0 in the second inning and held a 3-0 lead going into the fourth. Kemper CPA then tallied four runs and came back with four more in the fifth.

Brock Jansen picked up the pitching win on a three-hitter. Michael Martelli had a single and drove in two runs while Kendall Schmidt had a single and one RBI for the winners.

Gavan Wernsing led Schumacher with a solo home run while Tyler Budde had a double and an RBI.

In the second contest, Tyler Wetherall threw a one-hitter as Whitetails Unlimited beat Northside Ford 7-3.

Whitetails took a 4-0 first inning lead and never let go of that lead. Quest Hull had a double while Joe Matteson had a double and drove in two runs and Josh Blanchette had a double and an RBI.

Keegan Baker had the lone hit, a single, for Northside.
