Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League -- May 23

Dan Hecht and Russ Braunecker were winners in Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League play Monday evening at Community Park.

Dan Hecht downed Tingley Insurance 11-2 in the opening game. Dan Hecht stepped out to a 3-1 first inning lead and had a six-run fourth.

Ethan Bernhardt picked up the pitching win on a one-hitter. Zach Donaldson had the lone hit for Braunecker.

Leading Hecht were Bernhardt with a single, home run and two RBI, Evan Pryor with a double and three RBI and Braden Verdeyen with two singles.

In the second contest, Russ Braunecker edged Scott Mosher Insurance 9-6.

Mosher led 2-1 after four innings. Braunecker took a 5-2 lead in the fifth. Mosher moved ahead 6-5 in the top of the sixth but Braunecker came back with four runs in the bottom of the inning for the victory on a walk-off inside-the-park grand slam by Jacob Boyajian.

Braxton Lewis led Mosher with a single, double and an RBI while Ethan Jones had two singles.
