DIETERICH -- There was no scoring through the first four innings before both teams tallied a single run in the fifth. St. Anthony then moved ahead with a two-run sixth and finished out with a 5-1 win over Dieterich Monday evening.

St. Anthony outhit Dieterich 10-4. Adam Levitt pitched the four-hitter with three walks and 13 strikeouts.

Drew Gibson had three singles for the Bulldogs while Bryar Jansen had a single, double and two RBI, Greg Utz a double and an RBI and Joseph Kabbes a double and an  RBI.

Dieterich was led by Poe with a double.

Teutopolis High School edged out to a 1-0 second inning lead on South Central then had a big nine-run sixth for a 12-5 victory.

Both teams had their hitting shoes on as T-town banged out 13 hits and South Central 12.

Devin Smith had a single and double while Brock Bueker had a single, home run and two RBI. Dylan Bloemer and Tyler Westendorf chipped in with a single, double and an RBI each.

Harmeier led the Cougars with two singles and a double. Ratermann had two singles and an RBI and Markley two singles and two RBI.

T-town improved to 17-7 while South Central dropped to 8-7.

Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick and Ramsey went scoress through three innings before BCCH tallied a run to take the lead that it never relinquished in an 8-0 win.

Austin Rexroad led the way in hitting with a single, double, triple and an RBI. Black added a double and three RBI while Harder had a single and double.

Rexroad threw a complete game, striking out 18 and allowing only two hits. Kyle Black hit a double with the bases loaded, cleaning them in the top of the sixth.

Brownstown/St. Elmo handed Odin/Patoka a 10-7 non-conference loss Monday.

Odin/Patoka held a 4-2 lead in the third but BSE came back with a four run fourth to pull ahead 6-4. Odin/Patoka then tallied three runs in the fifth to take a 7-6 lead. BSE then scored two runs in the sixth and two in the seventh.

Lewis Brown had a single, double and an RBI while Cole Horner and Landon Feezel had two singles. Feezel had three RBI and Horner an RBI.

BSE improves to 10-11 while Odi/Ppatoka drops to 8-4.

Nokomis came calling and claimed a 6-1 victory over Altamont.

The two teams went scoreless through the first three innings before Nokomis broke loose for a 4-1 lead in the fourth and tacked on two runs in the sixth for a 6-1 win.

Nokomis had 12 hits while Altamont had seven. The Indians were led by Klaiton Wolff with a single and double.

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg edged Neoga 5-4 with a three-run eighth inning.

W/SS edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead and led 2-0 after three. Neoga tied the score in the top of the sixth. The game went into the eighth inning when Neoga pushed ahead 4-2. But WSS came back in the bottom of the inning to score three runs and pull out the 5-4 victory.

Kramer hit the game-winning double with runners at first and third and one out in the eighth.

Kessler and Kramer had a single and double each for the Hatchets while Kramer added three RBI. Quast had two singles.

Leading Neoga were Jordan Hoedebecke with a single, double and an RBI, Caleb Hill with a solo home run, Trevor Easton with two singles and Layne Andrews with two singles.

Newton handed Olney a 5-2 loss in action Monday.

The Eagles held a 1-0 first inning lead then had a four-run second and that's all the scoring they would need.

Nate Meinhart picked up the pitching win on a six-hitter with four strikeouts. Meinhart also had a big offensive day wtih a single, double and two RBI. John Grunloh and Connor Bierman had two singles each.

North Clay (Louisville) pulled out a 3-2 win over Webber Township (Bluford).

Brandon Repking pitched a two-hitter with four strikeouts.

North Clay was led by Quincy Aldrich with a single, two doubles and three RBI. The Cardinals drop to 10-7 on the season.
