The Orioles continue to make progress in their negotiations with right-handed pitcher Yovani Gallardo and outfielder Dexter Fowler, and according to sources, there is a strong confidence that both will sign.

Fowler is discussing a multiyear deal with the Orioles in the range of $12 million to $13 million annually, for either two or three years. He would play right field for Baltimore if his deal is finalized.

Gallardo is expected to get a three-year deal with Baltimore, perhaps in the range of $40 million to $45 million in total.

The Orioles would surrender draft picks to sign Gallardo and Fowler because they turned down qualifying offers from their former teams last fall.
