ST. ANTHONY 13, ST. ELMO/BROWNSTOWN 2

The Bulldogs scored five runs in both the fourth and seventh innings on the way to the win.

St. Anthony rang up their 13 runs on just eight hits, and were helped by eight SEB errors.

SEB actually had a 2-0 lead until St. Anthony tied the game in the third, and then came the five-run fourth inning. The Bulldogs added a run in the fifth before the second five-spot in the seventh.

Adam Levitt was impressive in the start for St. Anthony, allowing no hits through 6-1/3 innings, walking two and striking out 12. Brandon Puckett got the last two outs, allowing two unearned runs on two hits while walking one and fanning two. Feezel took the loss for SEB.

The Wooden Shoes improved to 8-0, pounding out 21 hits. A 10-run sixth inning sealed the deal for T-Town.

Lane Belleville got the win to improve to 2-0 on the fall. Belleville allowed all five Odin runs, two earned, on five hits and four walks, while fanning nine in 4-2/3 innings of work. Jason Kenter pitched the final 1-1/3 innings, allowing a hit and fanning three.

At the plate for Teutopolis, Austin Johnson had the big bat with a double and three singles, driving in six runs and scoring twice. The Hatchets racked up 19 hits and posted a 10-run sixth inning to finish the game.

Nic Hutchison got the win, allowing the five Dieterich runs on 11 hits and four walks while striking out six. Josh Overbeck pitched the final 1-1/3 innings, allowing a hit and a walk.

P. Thoele took the loss for Dieterich, allowing 10 runs, four earned, on 14 hits and a walk while fanning one batter. McClain got the last two outs, allowing seven runs on five hits and four walks.

The two teams combined for 31 hits.

The Indians scored six times in the first inning on the way to a five inning win. Altamont added single runs in the second and third innings before scoring seven more runs in the fourth inning.

Kevin Miller got the win for Altamont, while Austin Rexroad took the loss for BCCH.
