Teutopolis 11U Wooden Shoes Complete their Season

Teutopolis 11 U Wooden Shoes won the St. Louis Firecracker Classic. The Teutopolis 11U Wooden Shoes recently completed their 2015 baseball season. This is their fourth season of traveling baseball made up of boys from the T-Town School District.

They finished with a 20-11-2 record. The schedule consisted of five doubleheaders and seven tournaments. The majority of the competition was against 2A, 3A, 4A schools, or area all-star teams.

In 2015, the team took home the championship of the St. Louis Firecracker Classic and the Altamont Invitational Tourney. They finished in the top three in the Casey Tournament before rain ended the tournament. They finished tied for fifth in the Nashville Invitational Tournament. Teutopolis competed in seven tournaments and finished in the top five in six of them.

The team will be back in action in the summer of 2016 when they look forward to ramping up their schedule to include the Game Day State Tournament and several other large tournaments.
