KC Loses in District Championship Game

Kaskaskia College lost the championship game of the Northern District Tournament held at KC. 

Iowa Western defeated Kaskaskia, 7-3, to capture the championship of the rain-delayed district tourney. Iowa Western was third-seeded in the nation heading into the tournament with a 32-game winning streak.

Kaskaskia is coached by Teutopolis graduate Mitch Koester. Team members include Jarod Waldhoff, Darren Probst and Andy Borries of Teutopolis, Alex Allen of Windsor, and Alex Hoelscher of St. Anthony.

KC concludes its season with a 33-15 record.
