Altamont Posts Win Over SE/B

The Altamont Indians posted a 10-1 baseball over the St. Elmo/Brownstown Eagles this week.

Altamont scored eight times in the fourth inning, sending 11 batters to the plate. Winn and Wolff each homered in the inning for the Indians. Altamont added two more runs in the sixth.

St. Elmo/Brownstown tallied its only run in the fourth inning on two errors, a fielder's choice and a wild pitch.

At the plate for Altamont: Whitt--walk and sacrifice; N. Miller--single, hit by pitch, two runs scored; Winn--home run, double, two runs scored, 4 RBI; Wolff--home run, run scored, RBI; Finn--single, run scored; Ricketts--single, run scored; Guerrettaz--single, RBI; Kolby--walk, single, run scored; J. Miller--2 RBI; C. Miller--hit by pitch, single, run scored, RBI

At the plate for SE/B: Flowers--single, run scored; Brown--single; Austin--single

J. Miller got the win for Altamont, giving up one unearned run on three hits, walking no one and striking out six. Flowers took the loss for SE/B, allowing eight runs in four innings of work, while Feezel gave up two runs in three innings.
