Schumacher Orthodontics and Rhodes Chiropractic advanced to the final four of the 11-12 Year-Old League Tournament Thursday at Community Park.

Schumacher defeated Northside Ford 12-7. The score was knotted at 4-4 after three innings. Schumacher then moved ahead with a two-run fourth and had a six-run fifth.

Both teams had seven hits in the game. Logan Brown had two singles while five other teammates had a single each for the winners. Davis Tingley led Northside with a single, two doubles and two RBI. Grant Nuxoll chipped in with a double.

In the second contest, Rhodes Chiropractic edged DEKALB 4-3. Rhodes broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the second to move ahead 2-1.  DEKALB came back with two runs in the fourth to lead 3-2. Rhodes then won with two runs in the sixth.

Trenton Tuttle had the lone extra base hit for the winners with a triple. Kyle Pemberton had a home run for DEKALB.

The tournament continues Tuesday with Kemper CPA taking on NAPA at 5:30 followed by Schumacher meeting Rhodes at 7:30. The winners advance to the title contest Thursday while the losers will play for third place.
