Junior Babe Ruth League -- July 2

Washington Savings Bank had 11 hits and brought home 15 runs in a 15-2 win over Midland States Bank in Junior Babe Ruth League play Wednesday at Paul Smith Field.

Washington Savings Bank held a 5-0 lead after two innings and tallied four in the fourth and six in the fifth. Lee Hardiek pitched a three-hitter.

Cody Jansen had a single, double and three RBI while Hardiek had two singles and three RBI and Collin Kreke two singles and two RBI.

In the second contest, K.Wohltman Construction broke a 1-1 tie with a three-run fourth and claimed the win over Sehy & Jones Optometrists 8-1.

Derek Moschenrose claimed the five-hit pitching win and also had a single and double for the winners. Logan Smith added a single, double and an RBI.

Blake Kitten had the lone extra base hit for Sehy & Jones with a double
