11-12 Year-Old League -- June 26

Schumacher Orthodontics had an eight-run second and went on to bounce DEKALB 19-4 in 11-12 Year-Old League competition Thursday at Community Park.

Schumacher edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead then had the eight-run second, a four-run third and a six-run fourth.

Jackson Lee pitched a one-hitter while teammates had nine hits led by Logan Brown with a single, tirple and three RBI. Jackson Lee added a single, home run and four RBI. Matthew Hunzinger, Christian Raddatz, Ben Donsbach and Conner Weber had a double each. Hunzinger brought home two runs.

Preston Latch had the lone hit for DEKALB with a single and an RBI.

In the second contest, Arrow Pest Control edged Arab Pest Control 11-7. The score was knotted at 1-1 when Arrow broke the game open with a nine-run third.

Dalton Will had a single, double, triple and two RBI for the winners. Jeff Gillum chipped in with two singles.
