Junior Babe Ruth League -- June 25

K. Wohltman Construction picked up the first win of the evening in Junior Babe Ruth League commpetition at Paul Smith Field Wednesday.

K. Wohltman trailed Mid-Illinois Concrete 3-1 in the top of the third but came back with three runs in the bottom of the frame and went on for a 7-4 win.

Josh Overbeck and Landon Feezel had a single and double each. Overbeck drove in two runs while Feezel had one RBI. Derek Moschenrose had two singles and picked up the pitching win on a five-hitter.

Matt Goedde led Mid-Illinois with a single, double and two RBI.

In the second contest, Sehy & Jones Optometrists took a 2-1 first inning lead over Tri-Power Towing and went on for a 7-1 victory.

Sehy & Jones had 12 hits in the contest while Donovan Hammer picked up the pitching win on a two-hitter. Caleb Wendt had a single and double for the winners while Brandon Puckett had three singles, Bryar Jansen two singles and three RBI and Brett Koester a double and an RBI.
