Three Effingham Players Earn All-Apollo Conference Baseball Honors

Three Effingham High School baseball players earned All-Apollo Conference honors.

Named to the First Team were Preston Walker, a senior, and junior Braydon Bone.  Named to the Second Team was junior Carter Hayes.

Other members of the First Team were pitchers Ryan Scharf, a junior, (Mount Zion), Zack Tate, a senior, (Salem) and Austin Warrem, a junior (Mattoon). Other team members were junior Payton Hartbank (Mattoon), senior Carter Price (Mattoon), senior Hunter Morris (Paris), senior Coleman Engelkes (Charleston), senior Sam Beavin (Salem), senior Grant Geisler (Mount Zion) and senior Bennett Jackson (Mount Zion).

Named to the Second Team were senior Connor Wilhoit (Mount Zion), senior Ryan Hutchinson (Mattoon), senior Alex Elmore (Paris), senior Wyatt McGhee (Salem), junior Dallas Wilson (Charleston), junior Mason Bruce (Mount Zion) and senior Riley Spencer (Paris).
