11-12 Year-Old League Results -- June 3

Northside Ford handed Kingery Printing an 8-5 loss in Cal Ripken League competition at Community Park Tuesday.

Northside took the early 2-0 first inning lead. Kingery tied in the top of the third but Northside came right back with two more runs to lead 4-2. It was back-and-forth as Kingery then tied again in the top of the fourth. Northside moved ahead 5-4 in the bottom of the fourth and Kingery, one more time, tied in the top of the fifth.

Northside then put the contest away with a three-run fifth.

Neither team had much offense as both had four hits. Kingery was led by Tim Moore with a single and double while Northside was led by Davis Tingley with a single, triple and an RBI.

In the second contest, NAPA edged DEKALB 11-10. NAPA trailed DEKALB 10-9 going into the bottom of the seventh then rallied to pull out the victory with two runs.

Logan Antrim had a single, double and an RBI while Blake Devore had a double and an RBI.

Will Fonner and Carson Utz led DeKalb with three singles and two RBI each.
