Seeing Double
"Seeing Double" is a father and son duo from Effingham. While they've been playing together for years, the Texaco Country Showdown will be the first time they've performed together on stage.
Eddie Ward
Eddie hails from Effingham and says, "I have always had a passion for music, it has been a huge part in my life."
Dakota Esker
Dakota is from Tuetopolis, and is pursuing a Music Business Degree at SIU in Carbondale. To Dakota, "playing and singing country music is my passion."
Randi Bushue
Randi is from Effingham, and has been singing since she was 8 years old. She's lent her voice to her church, numerous choirs, and has performed at the Effingham County Fair.
Kassie Stanfield
Kassie is currently a Junior at Effingham High School, where she's involved in music and drama. Kassie says she's always loved to sing and play guitar, and is looking forward to challenging herself at the Texaco Country Showdown.
Lee Ann Bussman
Lee Ann is from Effingham, and loves to play guitar, violin and mandolin. She's got a great appreciation for country music's history, and has dreams of taking her talents to the next level.
Cheyenne Goss
Cheyenne is from Wheeler, and a Junior at Newton High School. She tells us, "Music is all I think about, it is truly what makes me who I am. I love performing and it is what I want to do for the rest of my life."
