Billie Burget Zink, 81, of South Houston, Texas, formerly of Louisville, Illinois died Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Memorial Herman Hospital, Houston, Texas.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 22 at 2 p.m. at Neal Funeral Home, Louisville with Bro. Gary Kuhlig officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Saturday. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Billie was born March 18, 1932 in Clay County, the son of Ned and Irene (Parsons) Zink. He married Margaret Lewis June 6, 1955 in Virginia. He was a self-employed truck driver.
Survivors include his wife of South Houston, Texas; brother-in-law Robert Willison of Louisville; four grandchildren, Chrystal Zink of South Houston, Tex., Jennifer (husband Gerald) Briand of Bycliff, Tex., Travis Eastin of Palmer, Alaska and Sarah Zink of Xenia and two great-grandchildren, Matthew Zink of South Houston and Lydia Zink of Xenia.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, William Nelson Zink; daughter, Diana Lynn Redding; brother, Robert Zink and sister, Betty Willison.
