Roselyn Louise “Rosie” Fuson, age 88 of Olney and formerly of Newton, IL passed away at 2:05 PM - Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Helia Health of Olney.
 
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM – Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Blake- Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton, IL with Pastor Chris Jennette.  Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Newton, IL.  Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service.  Memorials may be made to the family’s wishes.  The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.blakefh.com.
 
Roselyn Louise was born in Casey, IL on January 31, 1925 the daughter of Samuel and Ada (Estes) Cooley.  She married Loren Bryan Fuson on August 15, 1939 and he preceded her in death on March 25, 1968.  Rosie was a housewife for many years but also worked at Wal-Mart, ERBA, CEFS and as an apartment manager.  She was a member of the South Hope Baptist Church of Robinson.  She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and working on the computer.  She had a passion for genealogy and archeology.  She shared this passion as a member of the Crawford County Historical Society, Crawford County Genealogy Club & Museum and the Crawford County Archeology Digs.

Marie, IL...Granddaughter- Kim (Brian White) Nicholas of Robinson, IL...Great Granddaughter- Lacey Ash of Robinson, IL...Brothers- Ronald Cooley of Waynesville, MO and Larry Cooley of Wheatfield, IN...and Sister- Lois Neibarger of Martinsville, IL
 
Rosie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 5 brothers Bill, Leo, Tom, Kenny and Charles; 3 sisters Merle Golden; Phyllis Wilson and Rosalee Cooley; and son-in-law Bud Nicholas.
