Gerri L. Hartke, 54, of Toledo, IL, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.
According to Gerri’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Private family services will be held at a later date. Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham is assisting the family. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be shared by clicking here.
Gerri was born on March 8, 1968, in Effingham, IL, the daughter of Jerome “Chesty” and Glenda (Lidy) Hartke. Gerri enjoyed being at the lake and fishing, listening to music, golf cart riding, an always checked up on her family and friends. She worked at the Illinois Glove Factory for 7 years. She also had her own cleaning services.
Gerri is survived by her sons, Derek Taylor and Dylan (Megan) Yocum; granddaughters, Gabriella and Brynlee; grandsons, Leon and Roman; brothers, Greg Hartke, Brent Hartke and Blair Hartke; and life partner, Richard Yocum.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
