Terry Hunsaker (65) of Hidalgo

Ivy Triesta “Terry” Hunsaker, 65, of Hidalgo, IL went to be with her Lord peacefully surrounded by many of her family and friends at 11:58 am on May 20, 2013 at her residence.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am on Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday evening at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Aten Cemetery rural Hidalgo, IL.

Terry was born on July 10, 1947 in Effingham, IL the daughter of Carl & Iona (Yoder) James. She married Jim Hunsaker Jr. on March 7, 1998 in Hidalgo.

Surviving is her loving husband, son Matthew (wife Kiley) James of Hidalgo, step children Avery Hunsaker of Hidalgo, Austin Hunsaker (Kelsey) of Hidalgo and Ashley husband Doug Jansen of Morton, IL; a brother Calvin “Sonny” James of Maryland; sisters Romona Chapman of Hidalgo, Scharlene Worthey of West Salem and Diana James of Newton; one grandson Henry James. Terry often commented that their lab mix dog MAX was their youngest child.

She was preceded in death by two sisters Carletta French and Rebecca James. Her mother and father preceded her and her step father Gordon Mathews. Terry felt especially blessed to have two fathers in her life.

Terry was a homemaker and an in home caregiver for many years. She will be remembered forever and cherished by all who knew and felt her love. The family would like to thank all the Hospice team nurses for their love and care given to Terry and her family.
