She married Jerry Neil Limes on April 28, 1956 in Effingham, Illinois and they shared 63 years together. Zola’s primary work in life consisted of being a homemaker, loving wife, mother, and provider for her family. She was a humble and gentle soul and will always be fondly remembered by her family members and loved ones. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, her Bible, the simple things in life, watching the finches, hummingbirds, and swallows that frequented her yard, and taking care of her home. She valued communication with her family and leaves behind a treasure of handwritten letters in which to remember her by.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry Dean Limes of Houston, Texas and Timothy Ray Limes (wife Davina) of DeRidder, Louisiana; one daughter, Donna Faye Bible (husband Steve) of Louisville, Illinois; brothers, Ray and John; sisters, Mary and Barb; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one step great-grandson.
