Charlotte Gayle Price, 87, of Effingham, IL, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Ridgetop Cemetery in Crofton, KY.

Charlotte was born June 12, 1935, in Crofton, KY, the daughter of Harry Kline and Hazel Katherine (James) Zentmyer. She married James Leon Price on May 7, 1959, and he preceded her in death on May 28, 1999. Charlotte loved being outside in her garden, her flowers, crocheting, and especially her cats. She had worked locally at TGNY and Kmart.
Charlotte is survived by her son, James Kevin Price; sisters, Marilyn Sollman and Faye Allen; grandchildren, James Lee Price (Jade Price), Caitlin Price, and Olivia Price; and great-granddaughter, Nova Gayle Price.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Kimberly Gayle Price; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Price; and brothers-in-law, Donald Sollman and Joe Allen.
