Quentin Keith Haslett, 85, of rural Beecher City, died at 1:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the St. Elmo Christian Church with Jim Ziegler officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, rural Beecher City. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2022 at the church. Memorials may be made to the St. Elmo Christian Church or the donor’s choice. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Keith was born on Sunday, November 15, 1936 in St. Elmo to James and Leta (O’Dell) Haslett. He married Margaret Tucker on December 13, 1958. He was retired from Natural Gas Pipeline. He was a member of the St. Elmo Christian Church where he had been a past trustee and deacon and was a member of the Pontiac-Oakland Club International.

He is survived by: his wife of over 63 years, Margaret of Beecher City; son, Rod (Charlotte) Haslett of Dyersburg, TN; daughter, LaQuita (Kelly) Booher of St. Elmo; sister, Linda (George) Kollmann of Brentwood, TN; 7 grandchildren, Kurtis (Brittany) Haslett, Doug Haslett, Claralyn (Seth) Mars, Keith (Sydney) Booher, Dylan (Rachel) Booher, Cassidy (Jon) Nelson, and Colton (Alecia) Booher; 13 great grandchildren, Hilton, Blakley, Emery, Oliver, Archer, Mabry, Keller, Nora, Caya, Eden, Weston, Lennon, and Liam.

Keith was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Emmitt Haslett, and sister, Barbara (Ed) Sutter.
