Harold Thomas Clark (87) of Plano, Texas

Harold Thomas Clark, 87, of Plano, Texas, formerly of Orlando, Florida, Greenfield Indiana and Tennessee, passed away at 2:25 A.M., Friday, December 30, 2011, in his residence.

He was born March 5, 1924, in Celina, Tenn., the son of Benjamin Harrison and Winnie (Goodpasture) Clark. He retired, after 37 years from Eli Lilly Company of Indianapolis, Ind., where he worked as a Toxicology / Vet Technician. Harold was a WWII Veteran serving in the United States Army Infantry, entering Utah Beach in Normandy on D-Day June 6,1944; he also served in the Korean War. Harold was a 50+ year member of the Indiana Masonic Lodge, A. F. & A. M.

Harold leaves Charlotte Russell with whom he has shared his life since 1991. Also surviving is one son, Daniel Clark and wife Kathleen of Greenfield, Ind.; one brother, Omer Clark and wife Ethel of Winter Park, Fla. ; one sister, Billie Frances Evans and husband Gene of Zionsville, Ind.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mildred Ann Stevens.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday June 9, 2012, at the Swengel - O’Dell
Funeral Home of Neoga, Ill., with the Rev. Richard Coen of Neoga, officiating. Military services will be conducted by the Mattoon V. F. W. Post # 4325. Burial will be in the Neoga Memorial Cemetery in Neoga, Illinois.
