Rodney “Heath” Riley, age 42, of Effingham, IL passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at his home.
A private funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. Burial will be in Hubbartt Cemetery in rural Beecher City.

Heath was born May 18, 1979, the son of Rodney and Karis (Miller) Riley. He graduated from Cowden-Herrick High School in 1997. Heath was a member of Christ’s Church of Effingham IL. Heath loved riding motorcycles, old cars, playing guitar, drawing, and his dog, Scooby. He loved his family, and he will be deeply missed.
Heath is survived by his parents, Rodney and Karis Riley of Effingham; sister, Erin (John) Mueller of Shumway; nieces, Mariah (Isaac) Kramer of Strasburg, Rhegan Riley of Shumway; and nephews, Max and Reece Mueller of Shumway; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Hazel Riley, and Leroy and Mary Lou Miller.
