Judy Smith (83) of Altamont

Judy Smith, 83, of Altamont, died at 4:20 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Lutheran Care Center, Altamont.

No funeral services will be held at this time. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Judy K. Smith was born on November 22, 1938 in Chicago, IL to O. Carl and Mildred (Passenheim) List. She married Leslie H. Smith on November 29, 1957. She was affiliated with the Altamont Christian Church. She was a homemaker and had been a cook at Lutheran Care Center, Altamont.

She is survived by: her husband, Les, of over 64 years; daughter, DeeDee (Brian) Tucker of Altamont; sister, Roberta (Chuck) White of Highland; grandchildren, Travis, Kelly, and Cody Voelker, Haley Harris and Jordan Smith; and great grandchildren, Briana Hassebrock, Wade, Sadie, Charlotte and Ada Voelker.
