Patty Kay Blumberg, 69, of West Liberty, Illinois passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 in Olney, Illinois.

Cremation rites will be accorded.  A Celebration of Life service will be held in the Summer of 2022. Memorial donations in honor of Patty made to the family to assist with funeral expenses. Patty was born in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late Ray and Hattie Naomi (Fenstermaker) Wise. She grew up in the Amble and Howard City, Michigan area. Patty belonged to the Amble United Methodist Church where she met her future husband, Keith Blumberg. They couple married June 6, 1970. 
Patty always had a big smile on her face.  She was a graduate of Morley-Standwood High School and loved going to school. Her life was filled with lots of friends and family. She enjoyed camping, fishing and being outdoors. Patty loved singing and had a beautiful voice. Being mechanically inclined, Patty worked at her father-in-law, LeRoy Blumberg’s garage in Howard City, Michigan. She also worked for Leppinks in Howard City. Patty was a wonderful cook and baker. After moving to Illinois in 1996, Patty worked in the restaurant and bakery at Wal-Mart in Olney. The family would like to thank the staff of Helia Healthcare, Olney, Illinois for taking care of Patty.

She is survived by her sons Brian James (Meledy Lee Adams) Blumberg and Kevin L (Melissa R. Petersen) Blumberg all of West Liberty, Illinois; brothers Ray Wise of Florida and Gary Wise of Maryland; sisters JoAnn Carr and Barbara Roella both of Fostoria, Ohio; sisters-in-law Katie Priest of Illinois and Beverly Hood of Florida; grandchildren Jimmy, Cynthia, Melinda Allison and Chelise Nutter; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews Bradley, Terry and Rodney Priest, Mike Snearly, Jimmy Lee Vick, Arthur Male, Jamie Scalici, Sandy Miller and Mark Male. 

Her husband Keith Blumberg preceded her in death in 2005, also sisters Viola Smith and Betty Baltz; grandchild Timothy Allison and Gary and Dennis Snearly preceded her death.
