Lowell Pemberton, 70, of Flora, Illinois died Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 6:15 a.m. at West Park Rehabilitation Center, Evansville, Indiana.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, June 10 at 2 p.m. at First Christian Church of Flora. Burial will be in Red Brush Cemetery at a later date. Lowell was born June 25, 1941 in Flora, the son of Roy Leo and Betty Jean (Porter) Pemberton. Pemberton was a former teacher and coach for Flora Unit #35 schools. He was a member of First Christian Church of Flora, a diehard Bears fan and Flora Wolves fan, a member of National Humane Society and NRA. He was a past member of the Odd Fellows of Flora.

Survivors include his brother, Earl (wife Marcia) Pemberton of Brownstown and sister, Diana Pemberton of Flora.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
