Paula G. Myers (81) of St. Elmo

Paula G. Myers, 81, of St. Elmo, died at 3:47 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Private family graveside services will be held at a later date at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, rural Beecher City, IL. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Paula was born on Tuesday, February 13, 1940 in Newport, AR to William E. and Winnie K. (Bullard) Jones. She married H.L. ‘Ernie’ Myers on December 2, 1962. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and mother and was retired from Myers Insurance Agency.

She is survived by: her husband of over fifty-eight years, H.L. ‘Ernie’ Myers of St. Elmo; sons, Shawn (Trisha) Myers of Anna and Todd (Stacey) Myers of Searcy, AR; daughter, Michele Reed of St. Elmo; sister, Jean Ann Jones of Searcy, AR; grandchildren, Gunnar, Kylee, Anna, Gavin Myers, Durandi (Adam) Mulvaney, Chad Reed, and Ryan Wyman; great grandchildren, Macey Potter, Adalyn, Declan, Damian, and Amelia Mulvaney.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, William F. Jones.
