Laila Angela Brumleve, infant daughter of Derek and Angela Brumleve, came into this world at 7:56 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021. She passed away in the loving arms of her parents at 11:56 p.m. on March 19, 2021.
A service for family and friends will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Teutopolis, IL at a later date. Laila Angela is survived by her parents; siblings, Olivia, Hadley, and Eli; paternal grandparents, Patrick and Vicki Brumleve; maternal grandparents, Timothy and Karen Fuesting; paternal great-grandparents, Rosemary Brumleve and Janet Koester; maternal great-grandparents, Anthony “Toby” and Mardell Jansen; aunts and uncles, Julia and Eric Skilondz, Sarah and Trevor Lucht, and Brian and Heather Fuesting; and cousins, Sadie and Victoria Skilondz, Oliver and Caroline Lucht, and Kenzie, Caleb, and Bree Fuesting.
She was preceded in death by her cousin, Henry Meino Lucht; and great-grandparents, Gerald and Eleanor Fuesting, Arthur Brumleve, and James “General” Koester.
