William Stanley Harbold (78) of Farina

William Stanley Harbold, 78, of Farina passed away at 9:00 PM Saturday, February 27, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

William was born on August 16, 1942, in Los Angeles County, California, the son of the late Wilbur C. and Mildred E. (Widrig) Harbold. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force from 1960 to 1964 during Vietnam. He married Beverly J. Hendricks on February 12, 1966, in Faith Tabernacle Church in Los Angeles, California and they shared 55 years of marriage. He spent his working career working for the Los Angles Police Department, and he was a Detective at the time of his retirement after working for the force for 21 years.

William is survived by his wife; Beverly J. Harbold, of Farina, 2 sons; William Daniel (Tina Julian) Harbold, of Clay County, Brian Robert (Natashia) Harbold, of Louisville, 5 grandchildren; Joshua Harbold, Brianna Harbold, Reannon Harbold, Megan Harbold, Wolfgang Harbold.

Mr. Harbold was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers; John Harbold, and Steven Harbold.

It was Mr. Harbold’s wishes to be cremated and there will be no services held at this time. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
