Lillie B. Lane, 89, of Neoga, Illinois passed away at 7:29 pm Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Heartland Christian Village in Neoga.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be at 1 p.m. Friday March 29 at the Calvary Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Toledo. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church Friday. Burial will be in the Brush Creek Cemetery, rural Neoga. Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo is assisting the family. Memorials can be made to the Calvary Tabernacle UPC in Toledo. Lillie was born February 25, 1924 in Vandalia,  to Bert and Lola (Laughlin) Hatten and she was raised by Willis and Maye Hetzer. She married William Lane December 12, 1943 and he preceded her in 1998. Lillie was a homemaker and an in-home caregiver to many. She loved to raise chickens, guineas and rabbits. She was a special and beloved mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Calvary Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Toledo and a member of the Red Hat Society.

Surviving are her children Bill (wife Bonnie) Lane, Karen Robert and Sharon Bullard, all of Neoga, June Morse, Rose Duckworth and Linda (husband Spencer) Christenberry, all of Toledo, Dolly (husband Tom) Nease of Effingham, Wilma (husband Jerry) Trotter of Mt. Vernon and Josie (husband Bill) Kimberlin of Pine Bluff, AK; Lillie also raised her deceased daughter's son, Tommy Lane; brother, Frank Hatten of Charleston; sisters, Margie Keller and Betty Latch of Neoga and Juanita Thompson of Springfield; 30 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jewel Lane; sisters, Daisy Figgins, Della Figgins and Mary Millard; one grandchild; one great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild.
