Kenneth R. Hanke, 81, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at his home.
There will be no services held at this time. Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham is assisting the family.

Kenneth was born on February 21,1939, in Chicago, IL. He married Dolores Keene on May 14, 1999 and she survives.
Ken worked as a truck driver for Carolina Trucking for over 25 years. He enjoyed going to coffee with his friends at Niemerg’s and being out in the barn. Ken always took pride in his yardwork and kept it mowed and landscaped. He also took great care of his truck and kept it spotless.
Ken is survived by his wife, Dolores Hanke of Effingham; step-children, Debbie (Glenn) Krejci and Jim (Laura) Vojtek; step-grandchildren, Chrissy, Liz, and Joey; and sister, Beverly Kutila.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
