Rob Lewis (39) of Effingham

Rob Lewis, 39, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at his home.

Private family memorial services will be held at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham, IL. The family will host a walk-through visitation at the Effingham Holiday Inn Ballroom from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2020. They ask that visitors wear Packers or Cardinal attire if possible in honor of Rob’s love for his favorite teams.

Rob was born on June 10, 1981, in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Jon R. and Lori Ann (Miller) Lewis. He married Stacey Baker on June 23, 2007 and to this union, two children were born, Mackenzie and Braxton.

He worked at Patterson Technology Center and was a very fun person. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, boating, golfing, riding his ATV, and spending time at the cabin. Rob also loved the Green Bay Packers and the St. Louis Cardinals. Rob was a loving son, a kind and caring best friend, and the biggest supporter to his children. He was always there when you needed him.

Rob is survived by his daughter, Mackenzie Lewis; son, Braxton Lewis; mother, Lori (Miller) Hess; father, Jon R. Lewis; siblings, Kylie Rhodes (Duane), Whitney Hess (Jeremy Probst), Courtney Sutter (Chris), Brad Lewis, Dylan Lewis, and Audra Lewis; grandmother, Betty Miller; special friend, Jami Sidwell; mother of his children, Stacey Lewis; and many special nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dick and Audrey Lewis; and his maternal grandfather, Robert Miller.
