David Sisney (81) of Dundas

David H. Sisney age 81 of Dundas passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital, Olney, Illinois.
Graveside services honoring David’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Bethel Cemetery, Fox Township, Jasper County, Illinois. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery, Jasper County, Illinois.
David was born on September 8, 1938 in Champaign, Illinois the son of Fletcher Buerl and Maxine Lucille (Burwell) Sisney. On January 24, 1957, David married Shirley J. Melton. They shared fifty-four years together before her passing on July 2, 2011. David was a retired union cement finisher.
Survivors include his daughters Debra Jean (Mike) Tyler of Philo, IL and Shelia (Bea Betzner) Sisney of Dieterich, IL; grandchildren Brandon (Courtney) Sisney, Chelsea Tyler and Aaron Tyler; great-grandchildren Farron Sisney-Mann and Ashten Sisney-Mann; brothers Steve (Hazel) Hurt of Charleston, Mark (Linda) Hurt of Tolono, IL and Bobby (Charlene) Sisney of Broadlands, IL; sisters Shelby Sisney Fults of Seymour, IL and Sue Wilfong of Mahomet, IL and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Shirley, son David L. Sisney, brothers Allen Hurt and Burelway Sisney and brother-in-law Gary Wilfong.
