Judy K. Burroughs, 69, of Flora, and formerly of Louisville passed away at 7:21 AM Monday, September 28, 2020, at the Burge House in Flora.

Judy was born on March 6, 1951, in Richland County Hospital in Olney, the daughter of the late James Vardy and Betty May (Lambert) Cochran. Judy was a cosmetologist having taught at the Olney Central College for over 20 years. All of her students knew her as Miss B. Judy enjoyed many things like shopping for jewelry and cloths, and at home she loved to decorate for the Christmas holidays and loved to have her dogs at home with her when she was able to be home. She especially loved to spend time with her family. Judy was a member of the Red Brush Christian Church, Louisville.

Judy is survived by her brother; Don Cochran, of Salem, Illinois, nieces; Kelly (Daryl) Miller, of Avon, Indiana, Melissa (James) Williams, of Centraila, Illinois, aunt; Norma Freeman, of Flora. She is also survived by her great nieces and nephews but she thought of them as her grandchildren; Pierson Miller, Cameron Miller, Mylo Miller, Noah Williams, Owen Williams, Lily Williams.

Miss Burroughs was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 5 PM Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at the McGriff & Triplett Funeral Home in Louisville with Ron Payne officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening at the funeral home where friends may call from 4 to 5 PM. Private family burial will be held at a later date at the Floral Garden of Memories in Flora.
