William E. “Bill” Calvert Jr., 66, of Toledo, IL passed away at 5:16 pm Thursday, September 17, 2020 at his residence.

Memorial visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 am Saturday September 26, 2020 at the Salem United Methodist Church rural Toledo, IL. Masonic Rites will begin at 11:00 am Saturday at the Church. Celebration of life services will be at 11:30 following Masonic rites. Burial will be in the Mullen Cemetery rural Montrose, IL. The Barkley Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.

Bill was born on May 23, 1954 in Mattoon, IL to William E. Sr. & Grace (Kemper) Calvert. He married Mary Kay Dryden on June 8, 1973.

Surviving is his loving wife; son Kim Eugene (Bre) Calvert of Casey; daughter Melissa Gail Calvert of Toledo; grandchildren Addison, Audry, and Nevaeh Calvert and sisters Donna Glenn, Ann Harlan and Barbara Stoffer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother James Calvert.

Bill was the purchasing agent at Lester Buildings where he worked for 40 years. Bill was an active member and Past Master of Toledo Masonic Lodge AFAM #834 for 34 years; also, a member and Past Worthy Patron of Toledo Eastern Star #231. A 32nd Degree member of the Valley of Danville Scottish Rite. Member of the Gun & Knife Club and Tennessee Squire Association.
