Pamela Diann Worton, 56, of Wheeler, IL passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 10:00 PM at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Pamela was born May 15, 1964 in Olney, IL. She married Scherrie D Worton in Newton, IL on October 27, 2011. They made their home in Wheeler, IL, where she resided until her passing. She was employed by GSI-Agco Assumption, IL, formerly of Newton, IL, where she worked for many years in many different capacities.

Pam considered her family her life’s blessing and loved to be surrounded by her family, friends, and loved ones. She loved plants, animals, nature, and the outdoors, but she had a special place in her heart for her three dogs, Toby, Sha, and Nauti.

Pamela is survived by her wife, Scherrie, of Wheeler, IL; sons Robbie Lingafelter and Christopher Lingafelter of Wheeler, IL; step daughter Sheena (Steve) Davis of Arcola, IL; grandchildren Jasilyn Lingafelter of Altamont, IL, Alivia, Alayna, and James Lingafelter of Wheeler, IL; and step granddaughter Sara Hartman of Indiana; father Kenneth (Carolyn) Ball of Falmouth, IL; siblings, Dawn (Gary) Caldwell of Arkansas, Juanita Jayne of Newton, IL, James (Felicia) Nail of Falmouth, IL, John (Lisa) Nail of Mattoon, IL, Rebekka (Mike) Hixon of Willow Hill, IL, Kendra (Jon) Campion of Newton, IL; mother Leda Short of Willow Hill, IL; siblings Patty (Paul) Baker of Willow Hill, IL, Sandy (Jack) Steinman of Willow Hill, IL, Sharon Reynolds of Newton, IL, Cheryl (Donnie) Ford of Newton, IL, Michelle Abraham of Champaign, IL; and multiple nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother Kenny Staley.

A Celebration of the life of Pamela Worton will be held at the Potter’s House Ministry in Newton, IL on Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Burial will be at a later date. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup is assisting the family with arrangements.
