Kevin D. Conner, 47, formerly of Effingham, IL, passed away in his home on Tuesday, June 30, 2020.

A visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM Saturday, July 18, at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham, IL, with a tribute to Kevin’s life from 3:00-3:30. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to his family to help with final expenses.

Kevin was born October 10, 1972 in Effingham, IL, the son of Larry and Mary “Kathy” (White) Conner. He was a 1990 graduate of Effingham High School, and a 1994 graduate of the University of Illinois, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

Kevin is survived by both parents of Effingham, IL, a brother Mike Conner (Jill McAlister) of Scott City, MO, nephews Camden and Kalen Conner of Scott City, MO, as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends all over the globe. Kevin was employed by Anthem and lived in Greenwood, IN, at the time of his passing.

Kevin was highly intelligent, a very hard worker, and had an avid love for music and online gaming. He loved talking about and watching his two nephews, Camden and Kalen, play basketball and baseball. He never passed up the chance to give them a hard time any time he saw them, which always ended in a lot of laughter. Kevin was also very proud of his two Daschund puppies, Ziggs and Teemo, who brought much joy and happiness to Kevin’s life. He is dearly loved and missed by all who knew him.
