Thomas J. Ledbetter (67) of Effingham

Thomas J. Ledbetter, 67, of Effingham, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at his home.

There will be no services held per Thomas’ wishes. Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham is assisting the family.

Thomas was born May 13, 1952, in Effingham, the son of Oscar and Geraldine (Katz) Ledbetter. He married Cheryl Kincaid and she survives.  Tom enjoyed tinkering outside and fixing things. He also enjoyed fishing and listening to Elvis Presley. Tom was an individual that would help anyone in need.

Tom is survived by his wife, Cheryl of Effingham; children, Amber Ledbetter, Elvis Ledbetter, and Angel Ledbetter; and grandson, Orin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Scott; brother, Gerald Ledbetter; sister, Judy Brown; nephew, Todd Brown; and niece, Sheri Bishop.
