Vivian L. Moffett, 88, of Gays, Illinois, passed away at 12:52 p.m. Tuesday, December 24, 2019 in Heartland Senior Living, Neoga, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 28 in Grace Lutheran Church, Strasburg, IL, with Rev E. Wade Helmkamp officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the church. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery, Windsor, IL. Memorials may be given to Shelby Bells or Grace Lutheran Church Ladies Aid. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Strasburg, Illinois.

Vivian was born on September 1, 1931, in Strasburg, IL, the daughter of Lawrence C. and Esther L. Spannagel Kull. She graduated from Windsor High School in the Class of 1949. Vivian was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Strasburg, IL, and enjoyed quilting, working in her flower gardens and spending time with her family. She married Thomas A. Moffett on September 3, 1950.

Vivian is survived by her husband, Thomas; son, Thomas Leland Moffett (Marianna) of Windsor, IL; daughter, Leigha Moffett of Gays, IL; sister, Grace Moffett of Shelbyville, IL; grandchildren, Kendra Montgomery (Brock), Blake Moffett (Tanya), and Courtnay Orman (Robert); great grandchildren, Paisley and Bryce Montgomery, Morgan Moffett, and Brenlee, Liam and Emmalee Orman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lynn Moffett on March 23, 2015; brother-in-law, Dwight Moffett; and nephew, Daryl Moffett.
