Norma Pauline Eversole, 87, of Shelbyville, IL passed away at 5:13 a.m. Thursday, November 7, 2019, in Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2019, in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Yankee officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2019 at the funeral home, and one hour before the service on Tuesday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church, Shelbyville, IL.

Norma was born on May 20, 1932 in Shelby County, IL, the daughter of Leverette and Velma (Fitzpatrick) Hardy. She attended school in Westervelt and graduated as valedictorian of Findlay High School in the Class of 1950. Norma was a homemaker and a farm wife. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Shelbyville and enjoyed working in her flowers, embroidering, reading, and having lunch at Dairy Queen. She married William Paul Eversole on September 16, 1949. He preceded her in death on October 8, 2001.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan E. (John) Hippard of Shelbyville, IL; son, Ronald L. (Doris) Eversole of Shelbyville, IL; sister, Della (Doug) Roberts of Decatur, IL; brother, Dean (Jackie) Hardy of Shelbyville, IL; four grandchildren, Thomas (Kaytlyn) Eversole, Bradley (Nicole) Eversole, John Paul Hippard, and Jessica (Robert) Marrano; and ten great-grandchildren, Audrey and Max Eversole, Giovanna, Robert Jr., Marco, Sophia, Luca, and Dante Marrano, and McKinley and McKenna Hippard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul; son, David A. Eversole; sister, Shirley Berner; and brother-in-law, Al Berner.
