Brenda Milleville (68) of Altamont

Brenda M. Milleville, 68 of Altamont, died at 8:24 a.m. Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 18 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Effingham with Fr. Leo Enlow and Fr. Steve Arisman officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul (ELCA) Cemetery, Altamont. A Rosary Service will be held at 4:30 p.m. with visitation to follow from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Anthony Schools or In Stitches. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

Brenda was born on Tuesday, July 24, 1951 in Springfield, Il to Stanley Booth, Jr. and Eleanor Ruth (Veseling) Sturm. She married Dan E. Milleville on September 23, 1989. She was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church, Altamont. Brenda taught for 43 years and retired after 21 years of teaching at St. Anthony’s Grade School, Effingham, IL.

She is survived by her husband of over 30 years Dan Milleville of Altamont; sons, Derek Milleville of Decatur and Darin Milleville of Decatur; brothers, Joe (Sharon) Sturm of Spring, TX and Steve (Beth) Sturm of Chatham, IL; sisters, Marcia (Gene) Pritchett of Chatham and Laura (Bob) Neale of Springfield; grandson, Ryker and granddaughter, Baylor.

Brenda was preceded her in death by her parents.
