David Andrews Sr. 86, of Jewett, IL passed away at 10:00 AM Friday, September 13, 2019 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.
Memorial services will be at a later date. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup is assisting the family.
David was born on July 2, 1933 in Tyler, TX the son of David & Lidia (Huff) Andrews. He married Nancy Charlene Bartimus on March 6, 1953 and she preceded him in 2010. Surviving is a son Galen (Linda) Andrews of Jewett and a daughter Dawn Andrews of Jewett; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
David was retired from serving his country in the US Air Force from 1951 to 1972.
He was preceded in death his parents, sons David Jr., Jeff and Charles; six brothers and two sisters. Online condolences can be expressed by clicking here.
