Donna Jeanne Gordon, 72, of Vandalia, Illinois, formerly of Shelbyville,passed away at 6:45 a.m. Saturday, August 10, 2019 in Fayette County Hospital /Long Term Care Vandalia.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 14 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Pastor Pete LeDuc officiating.  Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.  Memorials may be given the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Donna was born March 31, 1947 in Shelbyville, the daughter of Donald and Frances (Wallace) Holland. She attended Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1965. Donna was a homemaker and a home health caregiver.  She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Shelbyville and dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her six children, Dina Gordon of Clinton, Scott Gordon of Pana, Harvey Gordon of Peoria, Michael “Mike”(Gretchen) Gordon of Pana, Amy Jones of Vandalia and Chad (Poppy) Gordon of Oakland; brothers, Roger Holland of Effingham,  Mike (Becca) Holland of Fayetteville, AR and David (Nancy) Rosenbery of Mahomet; sisters, Charlotte Evans and Peggy (Fred) Watson both of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Michael (Hanna), Megan, Ashley, Lindsay, Mallory, Steven, Austin, Amberlee, Anthony, Arielle, Jessica (Chris), Hannah(Avery),Tyler, Kyle, Grace, Chelsea, Keaton and Cale; and great grandchildren, Emma, Madison, Colt, Rory, Jamie, Hallie and three more on the way.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Frances; brothers, Richard Wallace, Harvey Holland and Jim Lappin and brother-in-law, Charles Evans.
