Vivian Ruth Warner, age 85, of Mason, Illinois passed away at 11:20 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Lavender Ridge Memory Care Effingham, Illinois.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the Mason Christian Church in Mason, Illinois, with a one hour viewing prior to service. Mark White will be officiating. Burial will take place at Arborcrest Memorial Park, Effingham, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at the Mason Christian Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mason Christian Church, Alzheimer’s Association, or the donor’s choice. Condolences may be expressed online by clicking here.

Vivian was born January 20, 1934 in Mason, Illinois to Claude and Flossie “Macklin” Rogers. She married Jack Warner on July 27, 1952, at the Mason Christian Church. Vivian was a life-long member of the Mason Christian Church. She was a pianist and organist at the church, helped with bible study, Sunday school, and VBS. She was a very active member of her church. She loved sewing, singing, playing piano/organ, cooking, and her family meant everything to her.  She drove a bus for Unit 40 for 24 years.

Vivian is survived by her husband, Jack Warner of Mason, Illinois; two sons, Roger Warner (wife Brenda) of Effingham, Illinois, Raymond Warner (wife Cindy) of Effingham, Illinois; two daughters, Ramona Taylor (husband Michael) of Flatwoods, Kentucky, Rhonda Hilligoss (husband Randy) of Effingham, Illinois; two sisters, Wanda Scarber of Mason, Illinois, Zola Lankford of Effingham, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Juston, Jeremy, Andy, Kara, Alisha, Heather, and Megan; ten great-grandchildren, Halee, Griffen, Lauren, Chase, Raegan, McKinley, Erica, Owen, Ellie, and Gus.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Flossie Rogers.
