Tony R. Devore (52) of Beecher City

Tony R. Devore, 52, of Beecher City, IL passed away at home on Monday, August 5, 2019 surrounded by his loved ones.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 8 at Hubbartt Cemetery in rural Beecher City, IL with Pastor Sid Hutchison officiating. Memorials may be made in Tony’s name to the American Cancer Society.

Tony was born on May 4, 1967, in Shelbyville, IL, the son of William Devore and Fiala (Gordon) Sands. He and Colette Younker were united in marriage on June 8, 2012. Tony worked in the warehouse for John Boos and Company in Effingham, IL. He enjoyed riding four wheelers, shooting his guns and spending time with his family and his beloved dogs.

Surviving are his wife, Colette Devore of Beecher City, IL; mother, Fiala Sands of Beecher City, IL; father, William (Linda) Devore of Beecher City, IL; sons: Codey Devore of Beecher City, IL and Corey Devore of Effingham, IL; stepdaughter, Cheyenne Logsdon of Effingham, IL; stepsons: Tyler Logsdon of Beecher City, IL, Phillip Logsdon of Beecher City, IL, Drew (Marty) Logsdon of Knob Noster, MO and Devin Logsdon of Effingham, IL; one step-grandchild, Xander Logsdon; brothers: Tracy Devore of Shumway, IL and James (Tammy) Devore of Beecher City, IL; stepsister, Theresa Campbell of Dieterich,IL.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, stepfather, Bill Sands and brother, Rusty Devore.
