Mark was a devoted father and grandfather. He could be found enjoying an ice-cold Coca-Cola, driving to Panera for a Saturday morning cinnamon roll, or a golf course perfecting his speed golfing game. His ability to play 18 holes of golf in under 2 1/2 hours was unmatched. However, fall Saturdays were reserved for the Alabama Crimson Tide either in the stadium with 101,000 of his closest friends or at home watching them. All who saw, met or knew him, knew of his love for the colors of Crimson and White and his dislike of all things orange. He was rarely seen without a visible Script A proudly displayed on his chest.
Mark is survived by his wife, Sharon Hampton; children, Jason, Stephen and Jeremy; daughters-in-law, Amy and Jennifer, and his five grandchildren, Eloise (16), Ethan (14), Laney Dare (11), Elizabeth (10) and Jameson (9).
